yes I know it's been discussed before but I just want to clarify. The top 2 lines go to the valve covers and the bottom line goes to the accordian pipe right?

Yes that's correct.

Or what some people do is consolidate the valve covers into one hose by a Y-adapter or N/A pipe so you don't have to run 2 hoses.

interesting it has a port at the bottom. Website doesn't show how it woks. Must be a dual chamber of sorts, becasue if its just an empty canister, the oil would all come out of the bottom pipe. I see the cover is removable with screws. Would you mind opening it up and taking some pics of the inside?

Its empty on the inside (the Greddy one is). Just mount it vertically and the oil will 'fall' to the bottom.

I don't have a camera readily available, I'll get pics tonight tho. But I did open it up and it's just a box, there are no baffles, just 2 holes at the top and one at the bottom.... not to mention the gauge on the side. seems like it's not as much of a replica as I was led to belive. also it doesn't seem like it's very well sealed, should I go over it with thread sealer? it also has the strong smell of paint thinner.

2 ports up top go to valve cover and 1 on bottom go to acc. hose or left opened?

The only thing I can figure is that lower one is meant to be a drain. Either you cap it or add an external valve. The oil wouldn't even register on the sight glass before it just drained right out of that fitting. When is someone going to market a real catch can, like the oil separators they use on airplanes (only much cheaper).

So a catch can is just an empty can? like a soda can then?

LOL well no a Catch can "should" have a labyrinth inside to allow condensation/seperation of the vapour or at the least some coarse Stainless steel wool.

the Greddy cans (at least the one i have) doesn't have a valve or even a provision for the valve. I say cap it or add a drain petcock.
