Sorry for all the questions lately, i'm just trying to get a good referance point on what to start doing to my car. Also this has been the most helpful forum i've found yet.
So onto the question..

The kid before me, replaced the clutch with a Bay City 3000 or 3200lb 4 puck bronze clutch. Now i'm guessing he used the metal TOB or whichever came witht he clutch.
Since i bought the car, you can hear the throw out bearing squeek.. its actually more of an "ERRRRT" if your not fast enough engaging, or dont rev high enough. ALso when it does make that sound its almost like the clutch fully engages, like a snap. basically making it obnoxious to drive after it warms up.

Comming from a DSM background, I always used the mitsu OEM throw out bearing, it was plastic.. but it always lasted as long as the clutch did, an never gave me any problems. I'm wondering which would be the best for this clutch?

OEM bearing for the Supra is a big metal unit - and it should not wear out. The one that I took out of my car at 125,000 miles was still in perfect condition.

UNLESS... it was installed so that it couldn't quite disengage the TOB when the pedal is all the way up, causing the TOB to run with the engine all the time. That would likely kill it PDQ.
