o2 wiring

88 7mgte: I'm having some wiring issues on my o2 sensor. the plug is broken on the o2 side. where can I find a diagram of what goes where? the o2 side has 2 black and a blue wire. the harness side has black/pink orange/green and brown?

O2 side:
Black wires = heater (doesn't matter polarity)
Blue wire = sensor output

Wiring harness side:
Black/Red wire = heater
Red/blue = heater
White = O2 sensor output (to blue wire on the O2 sensor)

The colors on the wires fade and discolor from all the age/heat, so the "brown" wire of yours should be the sensor output.

To double check, use a continuity meter and in your diagnostic terminal by the battery, the white (brown) wire should be connected to the "Ox" connector.

And while you're at it buy a new one.
