I searched, so please dont scold me :aigo: I also checked the tsrm but I couldnt find any good pics of what I was looking at.
I think it has something to do with the egr but I'm not positive.
Just below and to the right of the fuel rail back by the firewall...
There is just a hole there, shouldnt that have a block off plate there?

thats a port for the EGR valve. It depends, is that a JDM motor? If its a JDM motor it prob. wont matter because most the JDM motors have a block off on the EGR cooler thats on the back of the head. If you've gone that long without seeing any problems then you prob. already have it blocked further up the line

EDIT: this is the best pic i have to show you but look on the back of the head where the 90 degree hose is right next to the bend, thats a block off that im talking about

From the pic it looks like you have a factory EGR block off plate (JDM) but thats were the EGR is supposed to go

well it is not an issue in less exhast ant coming out of it so eather jdm head or

you have threaded bung put in your head like mine
