My car has a 3" divorced downpipe to a 3" electric cut out then a factory exhaust out the back. The car pulls real hard with the exhaust cut out open and then when I hit about 4000 rpm the seems to fall on its face then jerks you back into the seat again and will do this until you lift your foot off the pedal. with the exhaust cut out closed it doesn't do it at all. The car has a Garrett center section 60-1 machined to Toyota housings. I haven't touched the boost at all it is still at the factory setting. I am not sure if this is fuel cut or not. or maybe something more serious. The car hasn't thrown a check engine light but I did check for memory codes and there was a code 34 abnormal boost pressure and there was a code 31 for the MAF circuit. The car seems to do this at about 6 PSI of boost.

Massive boost leak or related to the code 31 if it's happening at 6PSI (keep in mind the stock gauge is slow)

The 7M-GTE uses an AFM, not a MAF. Check the connector at the AFM.
I vote for a big boost leak as well for the cause of the early fuel cut (code 34).
