not sure...help

before I began the tear-down of my 7m to get it ready for the spring/summer I decided to take it around my neighborhood one last time with my girlfirend in the car,not necessarily to run through the gears but to cruise in first. Only at 10 pounds I got on her a few times only to return to my driveway and pull it into my garage. as im sitting in the car I hear a tapping so I step out of the car and I manage to pinpoint the sound coming from near the radiator but not sure what it could be hoses are on snug any help here would be appreciated

I get the same problem in that area. I have not targeted what exactly it is. Its not too loud, but noticeable even in the car at idle, not through the rpms though. Typically only notice it when its hot as well. My area to check into is anything rotating with belts first. Have not done it yet though...

Could be the waterpump, I had one fail and start making a tapping noise once.

hope not haven't had a chance to check it out cars been in the garage I've been pretty busy trying to set aside some time to pull my motor down and start getting it ready for spring/summer with my new settup

lol...I wish I had a picture of her face when I stepped on it I guess she wasn't really use to a "boost pull" seeing as how her last boyfriend drove a spec v with an exhaust
