So i punched out the cat on my 92 vw golf not thinking about the fact that i had to do emmissions in a month and deside when it came time id just see if it would pass without the cat so i pull in the the check place. i'm expecting it the fail misserably, but what the hell that why they give you a free retest right, and to my suprise it passes... not only passes but has no problems passing WTF i though you wouldnt pass if you didnt have a cat. can someone explain this please.
