Ok, so I was just getting off work and pulling out of the parking lot and as I was stopped getting ready to pull out someone flys by me and revs it up. So I was like ok, pulled out and sped up to him and found out it was a 300z. I pull up next to him while rolling and then fly back by him, I was expecting him to the same but he didn't. I guess once he saw the supra badge on the back it scared him i guess (there is only 2 or 3 MKIII's in about a 100 miles area, so most people don't know what they are till they see the badge) So I was like whatever and after some traffic at the stop light a little black CRX pulls out and the 300z started messing with him cutting him off and all that crap. I just thought it was kind of funnny that he stayed away from me. Good little ego booster :biglaugh:

Why would he put a RB25 in a 300ZX? I can understand putting a RB engine in a 240SX, but the VG30-DET[T] engines are meant to go in the Z cars; they are just as capable as the RB engines, and the VG30 has more displacement!

I really don't know if a rb will fit...ever looked under the hood??? We have a 90 Z32 and it is CRAMMED in there. Only advantage of the rb is it is a inline which gives you more room for whatever turbo setup you want since you have all the room next to the motor. With the Z32's twin turbo setup there is only so much you have room for.

have you ever tried putting a vg30 in? you have to get it within an inch of perfect, or you start it all over. I had to do it twice before I got it perfect.
