Gotta Pay To Play
1.
Do we have to remove the intake mani to replace our plugs or am I not seeing something here ?

2.
Any other way than just adjusting the Throttle cable to clean up
throttle response / slack. Stronger spring..? etc ? Gas pedal is kinda "jiggly"

3.
I have a light on the left hand side of the gauge cluster that is on,
Looks like a little circus top..What the heck is that ?

Thanks for any info.

I come from a land down under
1: Yes (assuming you're NA you have to remove the TB)

2: Sorry NFI RHD here so we didn't get the monkey motion linkage garbage

3: It's the "BHG" light aka "Bird Has Gone", also might need to top up the Rad Recovery bottle.

Over the pond
Removing the throttle body alone is enough (it has a metal gasket IIRC, so it's reusable :), Y pipe noooot)

It's not that hard to do the plugs, just a major pain in the ass lol

You can adjust the slack on the throttle cable. On LHD cars, anyways, there will be a bracket that the throttle cable sits in... between 2 nuts on a threaded portion toward the exhaust side of the engine bay.

You adjust the slack by loosening and tightening the two nuts, and by moving the cable toward or away from the exhaust side. Play around with it for a bit, and you'll have ZERO free play. I have no play on my cable and it has 240k miles on it by adjusting it the way I mentioned :)
