Hey, Welcome to the Supra Community!!! It's so great to see so many new faces around here. I myself own an 87T so it's also good to hear from a new 87 owner. As for mods... the standard upgrades involve an intake filter and exhaust (3"). These two will free up some nice ponies. Otherwise there are a tonne of different routes to take really depending on what you’re looking for. The first thing that is normally recommended for newbs is to search the forum. Even though the forum crashed a couple months back there is still a wealth of information available, so chances are that your questions have probably been answered before. If not then post away :D. Anyways, welcome again!

First suggestion... learn what OFF TOPIC means... this is a section dedicated to NON supra related issues and topics... we don't mind the occasional supra related content but this needs to go in General..where people will say SEARCH..or... SHUT UP NEWB.. or something like that...

Intake and Exhaust are your first steps... also Headgasket..

that being said search around for different ideas... this thread is offically closed!

Having a bad day lanky? Haha. Thread re-opened, it's just a friendly thread in the off-topic forum, off-topic can be whatever people want to post, lol, don't need to close threads just because they're talking about Supra stuff, or at least move it. :p

People shouldn't be saying search or shut up n00b anywhere on SM either, it's rude and overall just makes for a harsh enviroment.

I would say the first mod you should apply is the driver mod. Learn to drive the Supra first. I do not know how old you or, or whether or not you have a license if you are indeed that young. All I am saying is that the better you can drive the longer the car will last you.

I would have to agree with SySt. Drive you car for a few weeks in stock form to get used to it. Especially if it's your first turbo car(assuming it's a turbo MKIII). The unusual power band tends to catch people off guard in certain situations. So get used to that first. If anything get a baseline for how the car should handle and function. Do the basic tune-up things and it ready to mod.

MKIII N00b,
I chose to say my "Hi there" to you in a PM instead since this thread went off topic and now belongs in the mod forum really. LOL

See you out there.

Yeah, normally I would, but I thought it could have been a light-hearted thread revival... it didn't work out as planned.

MKIII N00b, I'm gonna close this thread now, these issues don't need to be all public like this and so on. If you want to post another introduction thread, go ahead, if you want to know more about the MK3, feel free to ask in the General and Tech forums. :)
