Okay.. so you have seen my other thread.. about how i got the car, blah blah.

Im still in planning stages.. and money gathering stages.. But im getting close to my spending spree.

no, im not swapping no jayzee's or v8's

7mgte build son!!!

going to try and aim for 400HP. (trying to keep it managable, reliable and not too heavy so i can still dominate mountain roads... Ill probly have more money in suspension then engine)

it will be a mild build... for now.

Soon im going to start teardown, and prep for paint.

I have a bunch of before pics and vids so ill go ahead and post them here.. ill update this thread with pictures and just keep posting progress as it comes.

Pics are kinda muddy... it rained =(

will you be going to your stock red color?
For springs I recommend eibach + koni struts + tanabe sustec swaybars ;)

That's the exact setup I have, and handling is great, not to sharp for daily use, but stiff and responding for track ;)

Thanks for info... the setup you have sounds like what im probly going to get..

No, im not doing stock burgundy red.. ill be going all black with some kind of 5 spoke deep set rims in the rear, and same in the front, just more offset. i was thinking of 10's in the back and 8's or 9s in front.

Ok well i worked alot on the welding and bondo today.. it took me about 4 hours for a small area of about 6 to 8 inches, so im terrified to finish the rest.

But here's what i did.

not sure if you have experience w/ body work but you wanna make sure theres no more than 1/8" of body filler or theres an 80% chance it'll crack in the near future. also when you're done shaping it, beore you spray it put some filler primer on there and sand it off w/ some 400 just to make sure theres no sanding marks that'll show through the paint.
what color you gonna paint it?

looks nice flat black, what did u use to prime it? rattle can? if so thats a damn good job! although if u wanna keep it flat black i suggest getting some paint and a gun and spraying it yourself.

thank god that green is gone.lol you did a real good job.Did you paint all of the door jams and what not?good work I think some cars look good in flat black with some gloss black decals but if you do stay flat black make sure you paint it again and with a flat black color like maat black do not use just primer.good work!
