i know that everyone likes to look at other supras, hell i do! so here is mine of 5 years.

front of my car with katrina water still in fog lights, i have new ones. oh and that day some redneck with a party mullet came by barefoot, and long story short, he tried to jump from one side of the tranny fluid puddle to the other and slipped on his back, after i asked him the obvious question and he said "yessir" i told him to "get the hell oughta here"

a while later
a freshly cleaned block with a new surface and no boring had to be done, i was amazed at that with 210,000 thousand miles

new everything
oil pump, arp mains, arp rod bolts

almost ready to go back in the car

jet hot coated oil pan, manifold heat shields, and ceramic coated turbine housing, but oil got spilled on it and heated

its funny you mention that bryan, this weekend will be an all out supra battle, hopefully with me coming out victorious!

I am in baton rouge but i make regular trips to miss, its looking good man!! edit: i should let the pics load before i offer to shave you valve covers that are already shaved LOL . anyway you should meet up with us in brookhaven when my car is done.

I just wanted to thank you for letting me help slide the motor and tranny in the car. Well, I say slide; but there was more cussing and trying not to rub the engine hoist on the front bumper. Speaking of which I have a buddy with a paint shop in grenada. I'm trying to talk my g/f into coming down tomorrow. I haven't made up my mind quite yet. But if i do come, i'm bringing the supra.

To keep the lift off the bumper, you can chock the wheels of the lift. That was passed along to me AFTER I already had my bumper dent.

The lift was a left a little desired. The boom wasn't quite long enough. We just put a piece of cardboard between the hoist and bumper to keep from trading paint.

i also have an extra car but the motor, tranny ecu, and other things are spoken for. a guy in baton rouge is putting it into his 240zx

i do have a passenger fender, and headlight, the nose peice is smushed
the guy i bought the car from got hit in the rear and pushed into someone on the driver side front, he had the targa off and it bent the frame really bad. the hood is beautiful as well as the paint it is an 89 silver 5 speed turbo targa with 80k on the clock. its a shame that happened to such a nice looking car

once everything was tightened down and checked twice, the car started right up and no leaks. THAT is a great thing!
