So i had the same problem as everyone else did, this is how i fixed my problem, its not book specific so i dont want to hear you complain. you need to have a voltmeter and a soldering iron soldering experiance and some 18 gage wire. FIRST ALWAYS just check to see if your tail fuse is blown, if it ISNT whats happening is that you have a broken wire somewhere before it. what you need to do is try to find power to the coil side of the tail light relay( I had some trouble finding that relay but i finally found it right above the tail fuse under the dase its a grey cylinder thing the one on the right the other one is the defogger relay.) if there is no power there then there is no way for the relay to work so what you need to do is run a switchable power to the output, i used the 'Black/red" wire on the main relay from the front of the car and i ran it to connection # 4, on the tail light relay port. there is a schematic on the relay that shows what connection im talking about its the bottom left connection hole where the relay plugs in

, turn your ignition on and turn the switch and there ya go you have your lights back on.
the way i figured my problem out is because i checked power to see if it was going to the tail light failiure box and i had nothing going there, so i checkd the fuse and still nothing, and then i found the relay and still nothing, so i put power there through another source :nono: .:biglaugh:
If this doesnt work look up the tail light failure box, that is located under the driver side tail light those can sometimes go out.
