no spark

Well i got my car running good awhile back or so i thought. and then all of a sudden it started to not start if i tried to start the car after it got heated up. now it doenst start at all and has no spark. i tried to replace the igniter assembly but that didnt do anything. any thoughts?

I am assuming that being that this is in the 7MGTE section that your car is a turbo, a common problem on them is the CPS (Crank Possition Sensor) plug and causing a no spark condition. usually a quick giggle of the plug will get it working, if this does then best be is to rewire it with a new plug. A lot of people just straigt wire them by-passing the plug all together, but I prefer to rewire a new plug in there and I like to use the GM (Packard) weather-pak plug. You can get the housings and pins from either and GM parts department or also, I dont know about all but the Pep Boy's here in Florida have them also.
