No Spark!

Ok... Well my supra's been dead for about 2 weeks now. Im suffering a no spark situation. The little green plug that was going from the engine harness to the plug for the CPS was missing. The CPS was also fucked so I got a newer one. The CPS is installed but im still trying to figure out the coloring to match it and the soldered plug (i soldered some wires into it to just connect to the harness and get it to start) to the CPS. The CPS has a green, red, tan, and white wire... The wires from my harness are red, green, tan, and black. I read an electrical diagram for the wiring to the CPS and it says its supposed to be Red, Green, Yellow, and Black on both ends. I matched the wires as follows:

Black -> White
Tan -> Tan
Red -> Red
Green -> Green

Its the obviouse connection... or so I'd imagine. But still no spark. Im tempted to buy a new engine harness but id wrather have the car start without me having to put $550 into the new harness. Anyone have any idea's? The motor turns over, but no start. The motor goes into about 5psi of Vacuum when I turn it over meaning its pulling air but nothing happens. I WANT START DAMN IT! :cry: Some one please verify the colors going to and from the CPS for me, and if that turns out to not be the problem.... any idea's? :1zhelp:

Once again:

Harness side - /- CPS side

Red - / - Green
Blue - / - Red
Black - / - White
Yellow - / - Yellow

Your green on the harness side is probably the blue one.

Ok, my car was turning over... no start, but was still turning over... turned over for like 3 times... then no turn over at all. My cars retarted. At times, you can put the key in, turn the key and the car wont start, so you have to walk outside, touch these wires that go from the ignition to the starter to the positive terminal on the battery and the car starts... well at this point in time, no start at all. nothing. Im just gonna take this thing to a mechanic. fuck that! :cry: :3d_frown: :icon_mad:

Im gonna wait till i get the new wiring harness first... I pulled the radiator today.. It has major blockage issues and imma get another one. I was also clipping the wires that were soldered into the plug that connected into the cps and the wire came loose. Im thinking that maybe the wires weren't touching the metal things inside the plug and weren't sending a good signal to the computer. If the new harness doesn't fix all these problems then to the mechanic the car goes! Hopefully the new harness will fix the no start issue, but if not then ill get it to start and ill have them fix the brake lights, and change the speedo cable for me too.
