:1zhelp: ok here is my problem my car has no back up lights. I have check the fuse panel replace the switch on the tranny(well I assume that was a back up light switch) and checked the bulbs.also the dash light comes on when I put the car in reverse can some point me in another dirrection to look I also dont have dome light could that be a related problem? thanks for your time

if the dash light comes on when you put it in reverse, check to make sure you installed 1156 bulbs instead of 1157's.. just a thought...
You could have a open circuit in the wiring when you put the car in reverse,the reverse switch or circuit probably has an open and is crossed with another so when happens the reverse circuit controls somryhing else other than the reverse lights, so if it comes to the worse you might have to follow the wiring for the reverse lights, but break it down check all the little things before you or if you decide to follow the wiring.
