No power

ok i got my 1jz all rebuilt and all the wiring done and I tried crank the motor over and I have no power through out the whole car. I have no dome lights or anything. the battery is brand new and everything i could find was grounded. i do have the dash and that funky looking bar support that holds the dash out of the car. i didnt know if that stuff would affect the electrical system. PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME ASAP!!!!!

That's probably your problem, many people make the mistake of grounding the 1jz alt power wire instead of connecting it to the cabin power wires near the battery that went to the 7m alt.

well i found the problem. i started ohming every single wire in that car and i started playing with the terminals to the battery. one of the positives was attached by the plastic and not by the wire. i stripped the wire and hooked it to the terminal and my 1JZ LIVES AT LAST!!!
