i relocated my battery to the back of the car, had the car running, adn turned it off. i wanted to make some adjustments cut the wires a little shorter and checked all the connections, when i was rechecking the connection on my starter my wrench hit the oil pan and sparked... the ecu/fuse block wire from the positive side of the battery is running right off of the starter with the power line running to the back, my ground in the front is just grounded the th frame and same in the back, but the car ran fine... all the fuses under the hood that i know of are fine, and the ecu fuses and ignition fuses in the car are fine, i tried hooking the stock battery wires up and nothign still... what else couyld i have shorted out?

im willing to bet you blew the fusible link in the engine bay fuse box. you cant just pull it out. you need to take apart the fuse box and undo some screws that hold it in. its a common misconception that it just slides in and out, like a spade connector, but it doesnt.

my friend figured it out, after 5 mins of looking through a haynes manual we discovered our cars have a breaker that can be tripped int he driver kick panal, i hooked my stock wiring up for now to figure out what was wrong and the manual said to pull the relay and push a pin in it and if u have a "click" then you tricked the breaker, we did so, it clicked, plugged in, and POWER!!!, thanks for the help
