I'm just finishing up my 1jz swap and I'm not getting any power to my fuel pump. We hooked everything up right. Or at least we think we did. The engine cranks, but no fuel obviously. I'm using the soarer 1jz and my friend with the same soarer 1jz swap has his wired exactly the same and his runs. You guys have any suggestions where I should start? You should be able to hear the fuel pump turn on right?

Als, does anyone have the pinouts for the B1 connector for a 1991? I looked on 1jz-gte.us and some of the wires are different colors then what I have. Are the wires in the same spots just different colors for the supra's? Sorry for all the questions, I just really want to get this running. Thanks in advanced.

acutally the ecu has no control over the fuel pump power (besides main relay).. The ecu does connect to the fuel pump relay to trigger low voltage to the pump, rather then high voltage.. its constanly at high voltage..

Make sure the ecu is turning on..

I've been doing some wire tracing and it looks like the problem is somewhere with the JB in the engine bay. I'm still searching. What's the likelyhood of a main relay being bad?

You are using the Soarer 1JZ, but a supra harness right?

The supra harness has an FP output, but the soarer harness does not. It has an FC output that goes to a fuel computer, which you don't have.

Check your large dash plug, look for a yellow wire. See if it has voltage with the key on.

Also check your fuel pump resistor, make sure it is connected. Make sure the fuel pump relay is plugged in.

There are lots of odd things that get unplugged during swaps. So I'm just throwing things out there for you.

You can bypass the whole system if you need to get the car started.

It is the soarer engine and soarer harness. I'm not getting power to a lot of my plugs. I think it's somewhere at the JB in the engine bay. I'm going to go back outside tomorrow and look around somemore.

P.S. did you get my PM?

ok the FP relay changes the fuel pump speed to help prevent vapor locking and switch fuel pump speed

The FC circuite cutting fuel relay turns it on you need 2 things on to turn the fuel pump at this relay it haves 2 coils
1 is from the car computer
the other is from the efi relay!
they both must be on to turn on your fuel pump relay FC relay!

Also was your car an automatic dont forget you must bridge the blue/black wire with the white/black wire to simulate bypassing the NSW switch since the harness is split in the automatic supras!
