No more overheating!... but 1 more problem

yeah the thermostat was some crappy ass company. did not even ressemble a toyota one. anyway it stopped over heating. now next problem... Sometimes when i rev the car, it goes up as normal, but when i let off the gas, it starts to sputter and stuggles to keep idle. this happens also when im driving and im slowing down form third to second, the car just struggles to keep its rpms up and sputters. does not trun off at all just sputters sometimes when i idle. Any ideas? My afm is fine, my filter is brand spankign new, and no codes. any ideas?
OH and as to why my car was not starting. i had an alarm in there once. then there was this wire from my ignition hooked up to my alternator. the wire has a switch and it started to disabel to car completely. this was a sign of the car attempting to be broken into before my ownership (i did not have an alarm, nor did previous owner) and some wires from teh alt being cut. so guys, watch out when you park it! its very iressistible. well mine isn't right now with the fenders off.... draws to much attention .

hmm, can't help you with your problem. My car has similar symptoms and I've been trying to figure it out for a while with no success. When I get back to T.O. I will see if I can fix it, then let you know what ir was. Good Luck in the meantime.

Perhaps your BOV is toast? Do you leak boost when you hit it? Otherwise...I say check your O2 sensor. If all else fails, just consult the TSRM.

nah, no boost leaks methinks.

maybe, either that or bottom end rebuild. still not decided. but i need your help
