Finally got around to fixing my check engine light. Previous Owners fix for CEL on was to take the bulb out!! WTF!!! Sure enough as soon as I took it for a drive the CEL turns on and its a Code 52. Which i'm not suprised because the Knock Sensor was unplugged when I got the car. I'm guessing its my wiring. Needless to say I will be reading up on rewiring the KS.
No Check Engine light fixed. Now Code 52.

If your KS was unplugged when you got it and you have just now been able to check it; try clearing the codes, now that you have the ks plugged in, and see if it comes back.

Good point! I'll try that, but i'm sure i've pulled the fuse for something else after I plugged the KS wire back on. I'm sure its my crappy wiring. I've already broken like 4 plugs since i've gotten the car.
Tried resetting the ECU and still got CEL. I then made sure that the plugs were not loose and the rear one was. So I pushed it in and got it to snap on, but still got code after resetting ecu.
So i'm being lazy and i'm ordering a rewire kit from Shaeff. Wish me luck!

the ks's are under the intake manifold. in between the alt and the starter. on the side of the block.
Got my KS kit from Shaef and installed it today. I got to say its definately a nice product. I definately recommend his kits. I could have made one myself, but this made the install a lot easier.
So no more Code 52!!! Took it for a test drive and it definately seems to be running a little better. This is the first time I drive the car without the code. So I never knew what normal was. I always felt like I wasn't getting full boost. Now I know why. Feels better and just makes me want to free up that exhaust now! lol!!
Hopefully now I can improve on that 16mpg!
