No 1 speed sensor affeected by broken speedo cable

:1zhelp: I am getting error codes 42,63,64. Just before I started getting auto trans error codes my speedo cable broke. The number 42 code indicates #1 speed sensor...could this be related to my broken speedo cable? Also how big of a deal is it to repair or replace speed sensors and solonoids?

The speed sensor is in the gauge cluster, it senses the speed of the speedometer cable. If that cable is broken, it will cause the auto ECU to not know the speed of the vehicle.

I don't mean to be dense here but...will this result in a automatic trans error light (O/D)? It sounds like that's what your saying.
