So I've been randomly toying with this idea for a few days now.....

...I was thinking it would be fun to install a dry nitrous nozzle into each intake runner, and have it completely controlled by the ECU. Around say 2K, the ECU turns on the nitrous, then overlays a fuel map to add enough additional fuel until the turbo has fully spooled, at which point the system shuts off.

Would be fun for increasing throttle response :)

What do you guys think? Yay, or nay?

Yep. Also helps super-cool the intake charge. If I was huffing the funny gas, though, I'd keep it going, not kill it when the turbo spools!

You don't need it Rob. If you run a decent stand alone you can have your antilag set-up and even have boost between shifts by using gear cut or flat shifting. IF you had a turbo that is say, a 91mm, then yes I would suggest it but otherwise no.

Oh psh, you're still mad that Nate's ahead of you. You're biased :D

Nitrous on a forced induction motor is FTW, if done properly.

Definitely a great technique for larger turbos. There are some turbos that take up to 10 seconds to spool, so in those cases yes. Otherwise there are better methods as mentioned above.

Anitlag is a great solution to most turbos that are on this site. I can build 20 or even 30psi at idle with my set-up :naughty:
