its me again. and ive got my flame suit already on.

anyway, it seems that on here, the general consensus is to only use a 50- to 75-shot nitrous system on a stock engine. i was wondering if that sounded agreeable to everyone here. i'm looking for a small power gain on my NA just for kicks, til i can get my hands on a full turbo drivetrain. i know almost everyone here is disagreeable when it comes to the N20, but i gotta ask somebody. i don't expect this to give me those cool streaming lights and the face-peeling speed (those will come from the stickers later), i just want some extra get-up-and-go for my fatass of a car.

in addition to this, what parts would be most likely to fail due to increased stress? and can anyone recommend a kit? right now it's either zex or NX

just go turbo.. its cheaper and easier than the supercharger and nitrous. At least once you're boosted you dont have to fill up your bottle. And we all know fabbing up a custom supercharger setup wont be cheap.

With that said, I know nothing about Nitrous and have nothing at all to contribute to your post ;)

think this way... you blow 400 on a few good times or save it and spend only 1600 on the turbo stuff :D

OR you could buy some bitchin' seat covers.

OR think this way... if something could break, you're paying 400 dollars to break it, and then that will cost money to fix, AND you'll be spending even more on your N/A and once you spend past the 800 mark on new parts you'll kick yourself. maybe. lol. just a thought...i dont have any idea. but what will you do if you end up breaking something? you could take a test drive in a new corvette....that's fast, and that's free!

well alot of people say. nitrous is dangerous it blows your car up, RAWR

But. Honestly its a stronger BOOM in your combustion chamber, see it that way.

the 7m isnt a bad motor honestly. I Was gonna spray 100 shot ( with Supporting mods) . your not gonna be spraying 41090419041 times daily. but get a 75 shot, Dont use a gay button to spray, use a WoT switch, people blow theyre piles of Sh**T up by using a button instead of a WoT Switch. 50-75 shot will be fine, DEPENDING on the motor. i.e. miles hows it run etc.

also it would be better if u got intake, headers, exhaust.

If u want idea's on how to Mount it.

This is how i did mine

it got alot of Attention though, i would park and people would walk by and be like OMG(*@$(*(@$*)@$ Thats Nos, holy shI1491490 its kinda gay, but THing with Nitrous is. it holds its Value... u can keep it and put it on any car you want to. so u can sell or hold on to it.

PREPARE FOR THE LATEST IN BHG WHEN YOU GO N20. If you do it NX or Venom make great kits, my friend has a drag car he runs 150 shot direct port venom computer staged system.

thanks justin, exactly what i needed to know. figit - already got those seat covers :).

think of it this way, i spend 400 on n2o and that gives me an excuse to go turbo.

like justin said, i wasnt gonna be using it constantly, just a squirt here and there, maybe an interstate on ramp or two. as for the switch, i was probably gonna go with zex's wot setup.

Clip: If the motor is sound a properly installed and tuned kit is no harder on the motor than anything else that will increase the power by the same amount!

Way way back I ran N20 on just about anything we could bolt a kit into ;)

Funniest thing I saw was a friend that punched the button with the car idling in drive and it shearing both axles at the splines!

little off tipic but jjust a quick question, on an automatic, would u just spray the whole time even during shifts? or would u spray, let off the n2o to shift and then spray again?

most nitrous kits are throttle/rpm activated, there is no pushing a button like in the movies.

nitrous will be fine to use, but like any other mods to a 7m, unless you've kept up the maintenance, and done something with the hg, you're gonna break. however, a retorqued hg, a well-kept motor, and knowing what you're doing with keep your motor in one piece.

nitrous is not as danagerous as you think, as long as you know how to use it.

oh, and if u have another form of transportation and are planning on going gte soon, might as well hook it up and have some fun.

hell, slip a mattress in the back and youve got one damn good love shack.

anyway, as i do plan on going gte soon, i might let the fun begin.

thanks nash. would the safc2 help on my NA? i know its an air flow controller but didn't know if it was designed for forced induction
