i think thats the power steering idle up? is it needed or will it not really affect much....? i'm planning on getting a hardpipe and not sure is it needed. thanks

basically all it does is idle up your car when you're parking, in order to make it easier to spin the wheel. its not needed, you just might need to rev the motor a bit when parking, just a little. many people remove it. make sure you block off all possible vaccuum leaks if you do.

yeah ive been running mine open for ever now...and im too damn lazy to cap off the line or the nipple as well... i hoestly dont THINK it makes a difference...the oly time it pulls vacuum at that line is when it needs it... IE: me going slow to park....and the accordian hose doesnt really need to be capped off...its just letting in a slight bit of unmetered air...
