Official SM Decals
I'm trying to locate a 2008 NHRA rule book, so I can continue the build on my car. Were can I find one???

Also If anyone is local to the Maple Grove Raceway in PA or Cecil County Raceway in MD let me know, as I will be frequenting both often.

Also as stands, I have been challenged by a co worker of mine. 70 Chevelle SS against 87T

No I don't want to see "weelll....who doya think'll win it, cletis?" I am just aiming to shut an old man up for good. Him and his son ( he is 62 his son is like 40) race 2 70 SS Chevelle's one has a 454 BBC running 10.700 full interior and street legal. The one I am going to try to take down: Came off track from 07 season at a best of 11.736 was running a 350 SBC. This car is undergoing surgery as we speak... full NHRA spec cage for the 11.49 - 10.50 bracket. 383 stroker and all sorts of traction enhancements and wieght transfer devices(lead weights in a box) anyways this race is scheduled to take place on July 5 2008 tenatively. Could be later in the month we shall see. so If anyone wants to come out to Maple Grove raceway and cheer on a fellow Supra let me know.

Thanks for the replies.

I got a NHRA rule question, do you have to run a disconnect switch with a relocated battery? I figured it was a given, but noticed a lot of guys on here with re-lo'd batteries don't. I'm getting ready to do that with my car and want to make sure I get it right.

Yes, and make sure its a sealed relocation box since we don't have a rear firewall.

It also has to be vented, Bryan :)

Any sealed box worth its weight will come with a vent (that routes outside the car) :)...Im just saying not to buy the standard plastic relocation box, b/c its not legal in these cars:icon_razz

Some people would put a proper box in with zero vent though. ;) I have seen it. Plastic? LOL

13.99 to 10.00; all E.T. non-OEM supercharged, non-OEM turbocharged or nitrous equipped cars with an OEM or .24" steel firewall: Jacket meeting SFI Spec 3.2A/1 mandatory.

Non-OEM turbocharged, is that referring to cars not factory turbo'd, or any car with an aftermarket turbo?
