Hello there.
I just swapped 1JZ-GTE from Toyota Soarer into my MA70 body.
I'm about to change spark plugs. I know I want NGK iridium plugs with 7 heat range (1 step cooler from the stock ones) but don't know which gap size to choose.
BKR7EIX with 031" (0.8mm) gap
or BKR7EIX-11 with 043" (1.1mm) gap ??
Don't know which would be better :1zhelp:
It's BPU car with big FMIC, bigger radiator, HKS SSQV and 2.5" exhaust mods only, stock twins on stock boost with stock injectors.
Could you please give me some advice?
Cheers, Tomi

just in case of rising boost by 0.2 bar
You thing 6 heat range if enough for such setup?
Anyway 1.1mm or 0.8mm gap then?

I have no problem running the stock gap on the non -11 plugs over 350whp. IIRC it's like .032 ish out of the box.

-11 plugs are something like .044 out of the box, too big.

And I would just run copper plugs. Did you put this on another forum, I swear I answered this already and talked about just using V-power coppers. BKR7E, IIRC?
