anyone ever have them?

if you have what was your experience?

the tires i originally picked they are not going to carry anymore and they only have 1 left

my second pick was toyo proxy4's i have them on the stock rims and i liked them but they are all season tires and the rims will only been on during the nicer months

so i was thinking of checking the nexen's out but i haven't really heard of them before

YOU ARE FOREWARNED.

I just rid myself of my Nexen N3000 tires from my DD.

It's a FWD 2003 Eclipse GT.

Tire pressure kept at 35 psi religiously all the way around

235/45/17's all around

The fronts were okay, strange enough, but the two rears both had the belts break in them, causing a rough ass ride and uneven wearing on the tire to the point that a tire with 75% life left in it worn down in less than 3,000 miles.

They are noisy as fuck, and wear fast, not to mention they are directional, so there goes any plans you may have had on doing a proper rotation.

Traction was okay, but could have been much better for a tire that was built for "sport" in mind.

All in all, I hate them, I've had 2 out of 4 tires fuck up on me from this brand, I'll never go back again.

And no, my suspension isn't faulty, I just had a front and rear end alignment performed at the change of the new tires and the front was out a little bit, only needing slight adjustments, and rear being okay and needing no change. The car is stock height, camber and toe is set to almost 0 when the car has full weight on the tires.

hmm i'm running nexen 3000 on mine and i like them.. altho i am running 245/40/18 and 265/35/18.. not sure if it matters but i will review them soon since i will be bringing them on a road track next month. btw like starscream said they are directional, but most summer tires are so just expect it i guess. as for life i don't know what to expect, i run some camber in the rear so i know that will wear weird.

i was going with the dunlop direzza dz101

the next on the site (they have them in order by price) are the hankook ventus sport k104 but they don't have rim protector

but i liked my toyo proxy 4's all the other tires are more expaneive, seven more dollars each tire will get me the toyo proxy 4's so i think im going to stick to the toyo proxy 4's even though they are all season tires

I have friends that have run them before. They weren't happy with them. I myself use the toyo proxes. I love them.

Firestone zr1's have a nice stiff sidewall, directional tread, excellent summer grip, wet weather grip is real good and no noise concern. Will buy again if they dont discontinue them. 245/45-r16 in the rear.

I have Nexen N3000's on mine. 245/45ZR16's. So far so good, I like them a lot better than the Falken's that were on there (for about 2 weeks).
