I was wondering if the part where the old SUPRA badge would go is slightly curved up like a dome where the toyota emblem would go because i bought a header panel that would support 89+ bumpers and i have this bump in the middle...

BTW i was able to install the pre-89 lights on there since i folded a few metal frames on the panel itself normally where the 89+ lights would mount, but yes its a 89+ header panel and im confused as to why it has a bump on there, anyone else have that or is it just mine? thanks

That header panel looks odd.

The spot where the badge rests is recessed in. There should be a rectangular indent on the header panel, but yours looks like it's bulging out.

Both the Toyota oval badge and old mk3 badge have a rectangular base that sits flush on the header panel, regardless of year.

They ghetto filled it. AKA They just filled it and painted without taking the extra 10-20 minutes to remove the badge first. :3d_frown: My current/temporary nose panel is the same way and it's starting to crack. Luckily I have a spare under the house.

Yep, as already mentioned, the badge is more than likely still under there.

The only header change is for the headlight sprayers, the rest is the same...

The header panel never changed from 86-92. They were always the same. If there is no indentation/hole for the emblem, it's been modified.

The "T" logo fit into the same rectangular spot as the earlier emblem.
