I know i'm going to get flamed for this, but that's ok. I've looked around, and i didn't see any answers to this particular question.
Here's the situation..........
I have a 90 turbo with a manual swapped into it, but it still has the auto ecu in it. From what i've read, the auto has a lower factory boost setting than the manual. Right now i can't get more than 9lbs without hitting fuel cut. Any more than that, and it hits a brick wall.
I was told that i could just disconnect the factory boost sensor, and run more boost. I totally understand the dangers of turning it up too much, but i've read that going to 13lbs should be ok with light mods.
My mods are.......... cone air filter, boost controller, bic ddp, full 3in exhaust, and of course a boost gauge.
