New supra owner here. I just picked up a 89 n/a auto sunroof for $500 with a just rebuilt tranny and seemingly seized engine. I don't really care too much about that as I'm about to rip that out for a 1jz swap and converting to manual.

It is white. I live in Ft Worth, on the edge of Euless. This is the only pic I have right now. It was dirty as hell inside when I got it. I've cleaned it up quite a bit with the help of my friend 300zxpwns(Matt, also a new member/supra owner 1jz build). I should have my TenzoR driver seat in and pedals in within a couple days. The 1jz has to wait until I get someone to buy my Datsun 510(I'll trade it for a 1jz swap too guys! haha). Nice pics will come after it is running and has wheels. If any local supras want good pictures of their cars free they need to hit me up as I'm learning photog skills and I'm not too shabby. I'm not quite pro status though haha.

update on newb here. engine was pulled today and there was a nice size hole in the block. 1jz mounts are in transit and im awaiting about $200 and then ill have my 1jz as well.

well i ended up getting a 2jz for cheap and it ended up needing a rebuild. anyways i got back to the 1jz plan and picked up the motor yesterday evening from the awesome guys at JHOTimports and got it all bolted in this afternoon. Its about halfway hooked up now. i still have to do wiring and put in intercooler and radiator and a few other small things.

i sold that 510 a couple months ago. its back on the market tempting me to buy it back.

heres a iphone pic of my white 89 next to my friend matt's(300zxpwns, currently banned on here) 88 1jz supra. i need to break out my good camera and take some better ones, and finish my swap. but storm knocked my big tree onto another tree and onto one of the ford festivas so ive been cleaning that mess up.
