Hello, my name is Brian Bucar and I joined this site cause I am working on a particular project that involves this era supra.
I have a 88 plymouth reliant (yes a k car) that I swapped all the turbo chrysler stuff into including some well placed tweaks and the car runs 13.3's all day long. here is a link http://www.squirrelpf.com/index.php?page=bucar-turbok
Now why am I here? I recently found out that by using a few random chrysler parts (94-95 Dodge Dakota bellhousing and 94-98 Jeep AX-15 clutch fork, slave cyl, TOB, bearing retainer/seal plate), My pressure plate and a 21 spline toyota pickup disc, I can bolt the Supra R154 transmission to my block with little fab other than a crank adapter to hold the toyota supra pilot bearing, and then convert an already killer sleeper to a RWD killer sleeper. I also have a Ford Thunderbird Supercoupe rear IRS subframe and complete rear suspension as well to create the rear axle assembly. Plus it helps that the t-bird and the k car have similar rear unibody frame layouts for minimal fabrication.
Now why Im here. I need a little info from you fine folks about the wiring to the R154 speed sensor and any other info you might know about it (ie pulses per mile, what type of speed sensor it is, voltages etc).
I also need a output yoke from the transmission and a section of driveshaft but I will post in the forsale section about that.
Thank you.
Brian
