Sup guyz, I'm a noob and new to this site cuz I'm planning to buy a supra.... found one dats selling for 1000obo with no engine here's da link http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/pts/706853173.html planning to buy it and put in another engine.... any suggestion or tips?

There's no way I'd spend $1550.00 + shipping for a used 7mgte. I'd find one and rebuild it for that, and have a new motor. Good luck either way.

i don't trust that motor, it looks like an i6 but it says v6:nono::biglaugh:

the car looks like a good project, but how many people can possibly be interested in his car on an island? talk him down a little and find out if it was turbo or n/a which will tell you what tranny, ecu, and harness is there.

in most cases its probaly a NA shell so there might be a little more work involved in the swap. Good luck on it tho.

Look in the for sale section here on the forums and you will find a 7m WAY cheaper then them.

tanx everyone but I've decided not to buy dat supra and bought one dats actually in a very gud condition and it runs :icon_bigg.... non turbo 89 supra, 7mge, it has a lot of mileage but dats ok.... proud owner of supra in Hawaii....
