Hey guys! First off my name is Brian I'm 17 and as of right now I drive a 05 mustang v6, I have done some work on it but I plan on moving over to a mk3 soon. Within the next 3 to 4 months I'll be able to afford to buy one and since I am in a trade program at my highschool I'll be able to work on the car there for my last 2 years in highschool. This year I plan on getting the car and doing the body work and next year refreshing the motor and putting forged internals in it. Any tips for the newb? Thanks for any of the help you guys give and I'll see ya guys around!

Welcome to sm. If there is one piece of advice I can offer it would be to remember the rule of pi. Thanks everything you have planned (cost, time, ect.) and multiply it buy pi (3.14). It has been said many times on here before, these cars are not cheap and if you are going to do it don't cut corners as you will greatly regret it later.

Thanks and yea I dont plan on cheaping out because most of the time you wind up spending 3x what you expected when repairing everything you broke in the process, I plan of changing out all of the gaskets and new studs and bolts and basically everything a high-milage turbo car needs replaced. So when I go big I wont be going home lol.

I wish I had pictures of my own mk3 but I dont have one ;(, But for my goal is I was a built 7m with a 80trim gutted with just 2 sparco seats I would love to have 600whp but that wont be in the next 2 years I dont have the money or the job to do all the preventative work on the car to handle it that'll take awhile. My main goal at the moment is to just get one and clean it up and get it running.

I ment of the Mustang.

80trim is not needed for 600whp on a supra a 67mm wil do just fine :)
