what's up guys i've been a reader for the last few years, ever since i picked up my MKlll. i have always been a car guy, owned mustangs then a skyline brought me over to the boosted side. after two years w/ the skyline and a little over three with the MKlll, i think i may be able to contribute.
now on to the car i am the second ower of a 91 mklll turbo, auto, sport roof. the first owner was an elderly gent that babyed the car. since the purchase i have made three cross country trips and even took it to germany for a year and a half. while in germany i lost my first headgasket (vs. porsche on the autobahn) so, packed the car up and sent it home for a rebuild.
the rebuild consisted of a HKS headgasket, ARP bolts troughout, rebuilt CT-26 (60 trim), all cooleeze pipes (accordian, I.C., upper rad), lipp turbo elbow, HKS down pipe w/ 3" exhaust, high flow oil pump, AFPR, venom 550's (mistake!), block cleaned, cylinder hone, mild head job, lexus AFM, gredidy MBC, all new gasket, rings, seals, bearings and guages. since then i have traded out the lexus AFM and MBC for a MAFT Pro set-up. which made plenty of power, until i lost another headgasket and fried #1 piston (thanks venom). now i am freshened up again w/ flow tested 440's and 14 psi.
