About a year ago I found a cheap manual 7m mk3 a while ago and figured i might as well buy it. It developed rod knock a few days before i was flying over to pick it up, so the seller dropped the price significantly and gave me a free set of bearings for it. I put them in along with some thicker oil and hoped for the best.. I didn't know any better.
That lasted a few weeks until one day coming home i heard a little rumble coming from the engine but figured i could make it home. I almost made it got about 100m from my driveway before the engine cut out completely.I picked up a few pieces of engine and walked home to get someone to tow her. Its been sitting in the back yard while ive been slowly saving up for a 1jz halfcut and doing bodywork/rust repair.
I hope i don't get flamed for treating a supra in such a bad way but heres some pics;
