New to Site. From Athens, AL

Hi everyone. I am new to the site an a new supra owner. I have always loved the cars, but finally decided to switch my stealth/3000GT passion to the Supra's. I have a 87 N/A but my daily driver is my 91 Turbo Targa.

It has 3" exhaust all the way back, Greddy BOV and Electronic Boost Controler, Spectre CAI, Custom downpipe, tripple pod gauges, billet aluminum motor mounts, and stock CT26 turbo. The engine, Tranny, and Turbo are supposed to have under 1000 miles on rebuild, but you know how that goes.. I dought it. It looks to be a JDM engine cause it has a sticker in japanese that says 43,636 Kilometers stuck on the engine. Anyways I would like to get her up to 400rwhp.
I am sure I gotta long ways to go. It is my first Turbo so everyones help with it, and patience for stupid questions will be appreciated. Here is my Daily Driver...

Welcome! Looks clean from the pic, but I'm not feeling the TRD sticker. Just me personally.

400 rwhp is possible, but you'll want to start with a few basics. Upgrading to the Lexus AFM and injectors would be a start, and shimming the wastegate are great for initial first mods. Also, forget the factory boost gauge and get an aftermarket one. The factory one is worthless.

Edit: And yeah, the motor probably wasn't "rebuilt," just replaced with a japanese unit. Be prepared for a BHG. ::bhg::

It comes with owning a Supra with a 7M. You'll get used to it.

Good to see there are some other Supra people that are decently close.
I got an aftermarket boost and air/fuel mix gauge, forgot to list that..its in a triple pod. It is a fairly clean car. Need some new seats, and I have a few dings..I will work on body and paint later on. Im getting better at painting..when I get my gun dialed in right. Should I get the bigger injectors and AFM before I shim my wastegate? Or would it be safe to do it now? Any HP adds now without spending more would rock.

I would do it at the same time, but the stock fuel is okay for a mild shim. Search the board! The answers you seek are at your fingertips.

We only really use that for the "Gay Blue," but only in jest. Let's see it!

No you didnt slam it, it was actually the other supra forum that really got nasty.
I think. I joined three counting this one....but the opinions are pretty consistant, just some are nicer than others... LMAO They just hurt my feelings. HE HE ok here it is..slam away.

It was a show car sponsored by Fusion Audio, Hence the green, and the little aliens.. I did not build this car, just purchased it. I hope to have it in alabama in a week or so. He put alot of work on the mods. the reverse hood, shaved handles and lambo doors are cool IMHO. I even liked the paint till I posted it. HE HE

Athens is at the top by Huntsville. And I agree we need a club here in AL so we can meet up, and this forum is alot better already than the others.
