I live in Michigan and never really thought about supras (except while playing the Gran Turismo series of course) until i decided to switch cars a few months back. I grew up around a family owned repair shop and have always been familiar with cars but mostly domestics (my dad's a mopar guy and has a '69 GTX he's restoring and my brother has had a couple mustangs). I loved performance cars when I was young but when I turned 20 I bought a new Dakota. After driving that for 6 years the car enthusiast inside of me had all but died until I sold the truck a year ago and stumbled upon a '96 Taurus SHO. I've driven the SHO for a year now and it has awaken the enthusiast inside of me but now I want more. I started off looking for domestic junk but had a revelation one day and started looking at 300ZX's (I've always loves them). I was discouraged to find that they were still a little out of my price range but they led me to think "what else has japan sent over here that has rear wheel drive, great performance, and is in my price range?". Next thing I know I'm neck deep looking up everything I possibly can about Supra's and I'm hooked within a few hours. I want to find something that I can work on and upgrade. If you've ever seen the engine bay of a V8 FWD SHO you'd see why that isn't an option with my current car. They're too complicated and aftermarket parts are nearly non-existant. I've got to say, Supramania has become my default site for everything Supra. You guys are all great and I look forward to becoming a Supra owner soon. Thanks.

Good Luck on finding your supra! The engine bay of the 300zx kept me away from it. Everything is crammed in there and makes it a lot harder to work on than the supra.

Welcome to supramania btw
