Hello everyone. I have been on this forum just for a couple months now but just recently bought a 88 mkiii turbo with Targa top. The car is in rough shape with a few hail dings and a blown head gasket. I paid 300$ for the car but was given a full exhaust kit, a second transmission, and a never used driftmotion intercooler kit still in box so to me I got the car for free. The car is currently at the dealer being fix. There was only one import speed shop in town that said they could rebuild the motor but they kept giving me a run around about price and how long it could take and when I could bring it in. Also the shop had some bad reviews. Has of now I am just trying to get the car up and running and in the future hopefully go 1j. I know basic knowledge about cars and just a little about performance so I will be asking some noob like questions but I'll make sure to do some research first.
