new supra owner

proud owner of a new mk3. as it sits its hardtop 7mge. but very clean. gonna add a twist to this one though. hopefully the die-hards can at least appriciate it. gonna be dropping in an lq9/t56 setup.

gonna fully document the build. bolt for bolt. dont see many threads on this, or more so, completed threads.
hope you guys are interested.

Nothing against the GM Lxx series motors (they're obviously proven very capable and the LQ9 having the higher compression will be nice)...
But if you're ever so slightly familiar with the 7M/1J/2J... you may turn away many heads on the site
ONLY because these motors can make 5xx, 6xx, 7xx, 8xx and upwards of nearing 1,000RWHP....... with mostly or all stock internals.

With that said... There are plenty of old school V8 dudes that have ended up in a Supra that will have nothing but respect for your build.
As with anything, if it's built right and it makes you happy........ Rock on!!! :drink1:

Once you start making progress and get some pictures, start a build thread and keep us updated.
