Mine just went out on me and I've been searching everywhere. Looks like the dealer has come down in cost quite a bit ($165 for V-type), but I was finding no aftermarket support as far as a diret fit option.

I just came across this site:

http://www.driveshaftparts.com/center-supports/toyota/supra/

No too sure which one I need until I get her up in the air, but I'm definitely going to give one of these a shot.

also subscribed. I am headed to the drive shaft shop today to pick up my rebuilt stock 2 piece shaft. Spent $115 on my bearing and $85 on balancing / assembly / cleaning / inspection.

I am running one of these in my car and can confirm they are good quality and fit.

So...an '87 turbo has a different center bearing than an '88 turbo??

Not exactly. One bearing(PN#37230-14061), is for the MA70's produced between 01/1986 - 08/1987. As you know, only the NA(so no turbo) version of the supra was produced during this time. Then when the turbo model was introduced in 08/1987 it brought a redesigned drive shaft. The bearing(PN#37230-14070) is used on the new drive shaft on all models moving forward.

I have not seen these two carrier bearings side by side to know what physical differences exist, or if they are interchangeable. Though my guess would be, no.

Doh! Looks like I ordered the wrong one. LOL

Greg from driveshaftparts.com just emailed me to inform me that the original bearing I ordered was most likely wrong as they hardly sell any of them compared to the newer style and told me to double check my setup. Climbed underneath and sure enough, I need the newer style. I just shot him a call and cancelled the original order and ordered the correct one. A+ for customer service.

$77.50 shipped for the correct one. A bit more, but still a great deal!
