NEW Rack & pinion Installed today

Had the honor to install a new rack & pinion on our 90T today. It was a PITA. Hoses, lines... everything. we have an Auto to had to the mess down there. Anyway, the new unit looks nice and tight, nice boots and new inner TRE's. Got it in but Have some Questions about some things......

- The rack itself moves left to right when the wheel is turned all the way.
- Passenger side bushing is shot. only about 1/2 left.

Any ideas on how to fix those 2 issues? or maybe they're related (I hope).
FYI: I got the rack & pinion at Advance Auto. only ones that could get it other than the dealer. not even car quest could get it. The Evo unit screen was plugged with crusty crap so I had to use a tooth brush and brake parts cleaner to get it to where fluid could pass through. the Fluid in the p/s system looked horrible. smelled to the heavens and was dark brown. I dumped in some Valvoline Dexron ATF.

Change the two rubber bushings on the rack mounts. mine were shot about a year ago and the same thing, the rack moved side to side when steering.

damn. i got mine from autozone for 375, an atsco reman with a lifetime warranty. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16558 as you can see its not working out too well, but the problem is close to being solved

ok, so I should do both mounts then. I got mine at Advance Auto ( I work there). I special ordered it directly from Cardone. I get a discount so it wasn't bad. but even w/out the discount the price was better than car quest's. I called every outfit. only places that can get it would be dealership new or reman, and Advance. Haven't driven it yet. I'm letting it sit in the Driveway until I get it aligned. I have like 1" of toe-in currently. i'm hoping later this week I'll have a local shop align it.
