I would first recommend editing this post for grammar errors. Do a leak down test on the motor to ensure the head gasket is sealed well. For the body and interior, check the for sale sections. There is almost anything you can think of for your car in there.

My biggest and most helpful suggestion is...Search, A LOT.

I've been fortunate to have tons of questions answered by searching. (A little tip when searching: click advanced search on top right of screen, then type what you looking for, but click 'search thread titles' in drop down menu right next to where you type) <-- If that doesn't work, do just a general search and see what comes up.

There is an innumerable amount of awesome info on this amazing site.

With that said. Do your general maintenance: plugs, plug wires, leak down test, oil, tranny and differential fluid change, check your coolant/replace.

Toyota designed a long life fuel filter which often goes overlooked. Granted it is a very good unit and it does last a while, these cars are now over 20 years old, past the intended use for the fuel filter. It's cheap, and doesn't hurt to do.

Check as many vacuum hoses as possible. Time consuming yes, but worth it. Any vacuum leaks does not make a happy car haha.

Check for any hidden codes, make sure your afm is good and any other sensors.

Check Alternator and battery as well.

That's about it off the top of my head.

Welcome to Supramania. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

p.s. lets see some pics :)
