So here is my "new" supra 88 turbo, given by my father. It's pretty rusted and she needs a lot of cares. I'm 17, and all blowing my money in it, but I don't care cause I just sooo want to drive it:

She's been sitting in the garage for 2-3 years but sadly since 1997, she was in the garage entrance :aigo:. So that explains the rust, but also the almost 200k kms my fathers drove with, winters includ.

I still don't know if the engine is good for some reasons:I've changed all the brakes/fuel lines because they were REALLY rusted and the battery, but now I just need to find a fuel tank to start it...It was extremely rusted outside and inside indeed.:nono: Tried to make it rebuild but it's no more good. And let's love our dealer that gives this piece of metal almost 1000$ :icon_evil . So I'll place an ad here, by chance someone has got a good one.:1zhelp:

Give me some time to give the beauty that deserves this car.

Also some quarters, doors and I could be ready to go! not so far I guess...

Sorry for my english if it's not perfect, even if I think it's not so bad.

holy crap that sup needs attention!
not to pop your bubble, but ever think of just getting a better version in better shape?
you might be pouring alot of money into that one just to bring it back to life
if you did,you could keep the white one for parts,or sell a few

I would have to agree on getting one with a better body. Dunno how much money you have.. but I would think it will cost more then another whole Supra to get it looking nice.

Yeah I'm aware of what it needs but I'm ready to pay for both quarters and doors. After this the paint is done by me and all the body work so it won't be that expensive. The rest is not so bad, the front is perfect (I've got all the parts including a new driver side fender.

So a lot of hours of sandblasting, maybe welding and it won't be that bad to make it look beautiful.

Also I do not wish to change it, just I made myself this objective to repair it and learn a lot of things from there. I will have a lot of troubles, but it's more interesting than buying another one.
