Thanks Man, I love that color scheme, All the timing cases are just glass beaded, and bare aluminum1TuffSupra said:That is the exact same color scheme Im doing to my motor! Black block, using red anodizeFX on my valve covers, and silver on the timing case. :bigthumb: Looks awesome man!

Why is your Dukes Poster backwards?
Well I actually own a blaster so all I pay for it the glass beads.1TuffSupra said:really? how much was it to get it beaded? If you dont mind me asking
Well to use the Lokar SB Chevy dip stick I had to completely dissemble the dipstick. You need to extend the tube by using -6 Aero quip Teflon line which has the same OD as -4 standard line. Once you get it to the proper length you want reassemble it. As for the dipstick, I just undid the set screw and removed the SB stick from the nob, and installed a piece of wire (same gage as the stock supra one) and removed the stock dipstick end from the original one and reattached it to the new piece of wire so that when it is in the tube it sits at the same depth as the stock one. The only tricky part of the whole set up was replacing the tube that goes in to the block so that it fits tight. I took it to work and cut off the lower portion of the tube that sticks in to the block and welded on a new piece that has the same diameter and length as the stock one. That's about it.Untouchable7mgte said:how did you do the dip stick because i want to do the same thing!! nice nice nice.
tomz.
Thanks Adam. You need to come over and check out the Black car that replaced the white body. I’ve almost got the new outer window frame fitted and getting ready to have it spot-weld in place. Once that is done it is going out for paint and I should hopefully get all the new suspension and the engine in it once I figure out this oil pan issue.92turbo4life said:looks good pat..ill be doen in a month and in kearning alot lol. 5 speed swap full fuel system upgraded turbo lol alot of electronics. but when im done ill head up there and take a look. lol looks great man keep it up.
