After the bhg got fixed, I noticed my heater and cruise control didnt work. I then noticed that all of the vacuum lines were ran wrong. So digging and cussing a bit I found the information I needed through this site and you guys giving me advice and someone calling me a chicken for being willing to do the work myself. I dove in yesterday. Tore the top end off did as I should and kept track of everything. I'll tell ya what,, I'm very happy with myself and the info we have here on the worlds best supra site. Runs like a top now. No misses, no hissing, no fuel spraying from #1 and #5 injectors.
Now why I posted this in this section is.... I do have some tech things for the n/a 86.5 people out there.
1. The vsv's on the drivers side of the block are needed. No vsv particularly on the intake valve actuator is a big no no. Plus there is a vacuum plug that is not on the site that is located on the back side of the intake plenum near the firewall. That one is for the connection of the heater actuator and the cruise control.
2. Its much easier to intall the injectors into the fuel rail if you wet the tip with the small o-ring in gas before installing. Yes most of you already know this. But its worth mentioning.
3. The most important thing of all, be brave. Even if your nervous about doing the work dont let that keep you from doing it. You'll get more confident on your work very quickly. Even if you screw up it can be fixed. The info you need is here. Either in the tsrm or just by posting and getting the guys and gals here to give you advice.
If this belongs in another area of the forums. Please move it. I dont want this lingering in the wrong area.
