My girlfriend was ready for a change and settled on this baby. The weather's too crappy to take new photos, but here's one from a few months back when the body work was done. The tape is for the new windshield while the sealant was drying.

The previous owner spent about 2 years working on it and kept all receipts (about 4K worth). We picked it up for $3500. Needs some interior love and some tuneup work, but it's still a sweet car.

I think I still like the supra better, but you can't hate any car endorsed by the Woz.

Nothing wrong with that L engine besides the head being a shit design. They've been able to pull 250whp n/a out of the damn thing. And there's the turbo version as well.Doesn't take too many ponies to get a 280zx going, as they're light as all hell.

Luckily it doesn't have much rust on it and hopefully it'll stay like that. The lack of salt on roads helps a lot too.

This one was a special edition of some sort and has power windows, power mirrors, A/C, cruise, and power assist steering (and it all still works).

I need to get in there and set some valve lash and a few other things but it's pretty fun and my girlfriend is in love with the thing.

fuck that's nice... I can't find a clean one around here...

only thing I don't like is the shitty head design (non-crossflow heads suck, period), but nothing an engine swap can't fix...

My '79 280zx had all the same options... I don't think that means it's an SE or anything. AFAIK the only special editions were the black/gold anniversary editions (think there were other anniversary 2 tones also)

nothing wrong with a rb25 in a z car :evil2: I was going to pick one of these up(looked at 4 or so) and was going to do a rb25 swap. then i found the supra.
