today when i was driving i noticed that every time that i make boost i can hear this ticking noise.
first thing i thought was valves but it sounded way to fast and only happens when i am making boost. so i checked the turbo for shaft play or damage the turbo had a normal amount of shaft play and looked clean.
anybody have any suggestions for what i should check. i am going to check the egr stuff tomorrow to see if any thing came loose.
i have only been boosting ten to eleven pounds for four days.
