Hello everyone! First off I want to start by saying the forum has already been very useful! I'm looking forward to using it more, and getting to know some of you guys/girls. My best friends uncle has had a maroon '87 supra sitting behind his shed for as long as I can remember.For as long as I can remember I have wanted this car. In May he priced it to me ( I may have paid too much, but I really wanted it). I did not know anything about it other than it was a supra, honestly. Well its 7M-GTE, and it currently does not run. He told me it was a bhg, so after some research it seemed to be a reasonable problem. So I bought a refurbished head, mhg, arp studs, and all that jazz. After 2 weeks of working on it in the evenings, i got it back together. It still doesn't run, but I'm sure its a fuel pump( I have a walboro , just waiting for the time to install it) The body (considering it has been sitting for 13 years) is in good shape. Only rust on the car is where water was standing in the spare tire area. No big deal. There aren't any dings, scratches, dents, or anything of that nature, however you can tell the paint has some age on it. I will post pictures eventually, and I am looking forward to getting to know some of you all!

Welcome man, I'm in Knoxville, well, sometimes, and I'm in the process of fully rebuilding my 89 Turbo...waiting on my +0.5mm Probe Industries Pistons to arrive....if you need a good Toyota mechanic, I know the best around here...
Welcome to the 'Mania! Sounds like you've done your research on the infamous BHG problem that our cars suffer from. Good luck getting it running and hit me up if you ever get to Louisville.
I will be returning to the Clarksville area on the 19th so.... I have rebuilt quite a few of these motors and am rather good at it. I have also done a pump or two. My Supra will be there sometime around the begining of Oct. I ship it from over here in Germany on the 11th. All of my mods are in my signiture.
