Hey guys I am looking to renew my supra its an 87 NA 5spd and the motor is slap wore out. I am looking into JDM 7m I am also planning on going turbo. Anyone have any input for Importers I called Nippon and they will have a couple in a few weeks and told me it would run 850 for Long block with turbo and 240 shipping. I guess what I want to know is Nippon a good company to deal with? I tried to Email Bigaaron I know he does this also but no responce yet. Oh and that price is no tranny. Any thoughts

They have 7MGTE's for $700...S&H is 200 I believe...
Motors typically have between 15-20k miles on them(very low).
My JDM 7M was 800:motor only, but wires and harnesses were all there.:biglaugh:

You can't verify the mileage on the JDM motors. I guess you just gotta believe. I was told mine had 30,000, but who knows. It runs great, so I don't care. I got mine 2nd hand, but I have heard nothing but good about Jarco. GrimJack knows all!

Yeah my JDM arrived with a BHG and serious issues in #5 cylinder. Should have dissambled the whole thing before dropping it in me car. Fuckin fickle finger of fate

when you finally decide to get a motor,be sure to do a leak down on all cylinders to verify that they are in good cond.

Well there is never a GUARANTEE of how many miles, but it would be false advertising if they were lying when they said they had "low" miles on all them.
Buying a JDM motor is always a risk, but it usually turns out for the better.
